The front pages of the world's leading media outlets are filled with the topic of the recent televised debates between the presidential candidates in the United States.
Republican Donald Trump, who previously served as head of state, and Democrat Kamala Harris, currently the country's vice president, clashed in a verbal duel.
The event was broadcast by many television channels, and CNN conducted a poll afterwards.
The data obtained during the sociological research indicate that Harris won the debates.
According to the TASS agency, which reviewed the results of the survey, 44% of viewers said that the vice president understands their problems better.
Trump, however, managed to secure the support of only 40% of viewers.
The television company interprets the results of the poll as evidence that the presidential race at this stage is in Harris' favor.
By comparison, the results of the same poll conducted before the debate showed that Trump was supported by 43% of voters, Harris by 39%.
At the same time, it is noted that the majority of viewers after the end of the debate supported the Republican on economic issues.
According to the survey, in this regard he received the support of 55% of viewers, while his opponent received 35%.
It is noted that 82% of respondents reported that they would not change their choice in favor of one candidate or another.
Only 14% of viewers said they considered the possibility that they might reconsider their views on Trump or Harris.
Even fewer – 4% of respondents – said that after these debates they would most likely change their choice and vote for another candidate.
