American billionaire Elon Musk has enthusiastically assessed the news of his possible appointment to the team of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.
The entrepreneur published a corresponding statement on the social network X.

Yesterday, the American publication Washington Post, citing sources, reported that Trump, if re-elected, wants to create a special commission to audit government programs.
According to the publication, Musk may join the leadership of this commission.
“I can’t wait, ” Musk wrote on social media X, commenting on the news.
The entrepreneur noted that the US government has a lot of unnecessary regulation and waste that needs to be eliminated.
Earlier, Musk expressed his willingness to join the US government.
Western media reported that Trump, if he returns to the White House, will offer Musk a position in the administration or a consultant post.
In July, Musk posted a statement on X supporting Trump in the presidential race, and recently interviewed him at X's Spaces.
The US presidential election will be held on November 5. The Democratic Party will be represented by Vice President Kamala Harris.
