Incredibly beautiful and elegant orchids can become a real decoration for any apartment.

True, only if you learn how to properly care for them – then these plants will definitely thank you with their long flowering.

Let's start with watering: when it comes to orchids, it has its own peculiarities.

This flower needs uniform moisture, and it also does not tolerate excess moisture. To avoid over-watering, make sure that the top layer of the substrate is dry before watering.

For watering, use only soft water: if tap water does not meet this requirement, replace it with filtered or boiled water.

The next point that deserves your attention is light.

If there is not enough light, the plant will refuse to bloom. If the sun's rays are direct, the delicate leaves will get burned.

Orchids will grow better if you provide them with bright indirect light - all you need to do is place the pots on eastern or western windowsills.

Finally, you should definitely repot your plants regularly.

This should be done every 1-2 years, as the orchid roots fill the pot.

And don’t forget about orchid fertilizers: feed the flowers with special fertilizers during the period of active growth.

During the dormant period, the amount of fertilizer should be reduced.
