Sometimes summer residents grow so many cucumbers that they don’t have time to find a use for them – they have to share the harvest so that it doesn’t go to waste.

The secret of such abundant fruiting is simple. If you are an experienced gardener, you are probably familiar with it, but beginners can learn something new from this article.

It turns out that cucumbers start to bear fruit like crazy if you feed them yeast.

This fertilizer should be applied three times throughout the season.

The first time you need to feed cucumbers is 5 days after you plant the seedlings in the ground. If you plant cucumbers directly in the ground, then the right moment comes when the 6th leaf appears.

As a result of such watering, the plants become stronger and take root better in a new place, and their roots and stems receive an impetus for growth.

The second application of fertilizer occurs when the first flowers appear on the cucumbers. After the yeast, new flowers will be released, and the crop will become more resistant to diseases and adverse environmental impacts.

Finally, the third time cucumbers are fed during the period of ovary formation in order to increase its quantity and improve the taste of the fruit.

As you can see, there is nothing complicated. The fertilizer itself is also easy to prepare.

You will need to dilute 100 g of fresh yeast in 1 liter of warm milk and wait 2-4 hours, then dilute with warm water in a ratio of 1 to 10.

Spraying is done in the morning or evening using the smallest nozzle.

The second option consists of 10 liters of warm water, 10 g of dry yeast and 2 tablespoons (with a slide) of sugar. The infusion time is 4 hours.

The fertilizer will be ready for watering after you dilute it with warm water in a ratio of 1 to 5. It should be used immediately to water the cucumber beds. A small sprout needs 200 ml, an adult plant will need 1 liter per stem.
