Did you know that ammonia is simply an irreplaceable tool for caring for flowers and garden crops?
For example, if you notice that the onion feathers have turned pale and yellowish, this means that the crop is signaling you about a lack of nitrogen.
It can be replenished by using ammonia-based fertilizer.
To prepare the solution, you will need 10 liters of water and 3 tablespoons of ammonia. Use it to water the beds in the evening.
In addition to the fact that this product acts as a fertilizer, it also protects onions from their worst enemy – the onion fly.
Even pests such as aphids cannot resist the toxic fumes of ammonia.
To get rid of this parasite, dissolve 50 ml of ammonia in a bucket of water and add a quarter of a bar of laundry soap, which you need to grate. This additive is needed for better adhesion.
And to prevent wireworms from harming growing tomatoes, when you plant tomato seedlings, pour a little weak ammonia solution into each hole.
And this remedy will only benefit indoor plants.
If they are forced to tolerate the presence of midges, water the soil in the pots with a solution consisting of 25 ml of alcohol and 2 liters of settled water.
Lilies, clematis and geraniums will especially like this procedure.
By the way, you can also fight midges with pepper. Grind red chili or black peppercorns into dust and sprinkle the ground with it.
