In some gardens, strange things can be noticed at first glance - bags of water hang from tree branches.
No, this is not someone's joke. Everything is serious. And experienced gardeners do this intentionally - with a specific purpose.
It turns out that the most ordinary bag of water can protect plants from pests and help in caring for them.

It's all about the sun's rays
How does it work? First of all, such "water" bags protect the garden from insects, birds and animals.
The trick is that the sun's rays passing through the water create glare and reflections that repel pests.
The most effective method is against flies, wasps and some butterflies that like to lay eggs on leaves.
In addition, glare can frighten individual birds that are feasting on garden fruits.
Moreover, even rodents and moles can be repelled from your trees by such bags.
These bags also help with moisture in hot weather: when the water in them evaporates, the humidity around the plant increases.
How to use
Unlike chemicals, bags of water are absolutely safe for bees and other beneficial insects, as well as for plants, humans, and soil.
But for the method to work, you must adhere to the following rules:
– use only transparent bags, the best option is polyethylene bags, which easily refract light;
– fill the bags halfway with water, otherwise a bag that is too heavy may break the branch, while one that is too light will not create glare;
– the bags should be hung at the level of the crown – this way they will diffuse the light most effectively;
– the water in the bags should be changed every few weeks – this will protect us from the reproduction of insects inside the bags.
