Summer residents will come up with anything to increase the yield of fruit crops on their six hundred square meters.

Everyone knows well what moisture-charging irrigation is used for. But not everyone knows that before irrigation, you need to add cereal to the water.

Gardeners who practice this method claim that such watering saturates the soil with both moisture and nutrients.

What cereals to add

Basically, it is recommended to use millet or pearl barley, and there are also recommendations with oatmeal.

Once they have rotted by spring, they will enrich the soil with nutrients and improve its structure.

How to proceed

1. For every 10 liters of water, you will need to add 100-150 grams of cereal and let it sit. The grain should be soaked in moisture and swell slightly.

2. It is recommended to water on frozen soil, but before snow falls.

First of all, this is how they water the beds allocated for vegetables (root crops) and berries (strawberries).

3. Then the soil is mulched.

By using this method, gardeners will protect the soil from drying out and increase the yield of fruit crops in the new season.
