How and when to plant cucumber seedlings
Cucumber seedlings do not like picking, so plant them immediately in separate cups.
They must be pre-disinfected, just like the seeds.
The easiest way to disinfect seeds is to soak them for half an hour in a one percent solution of potassium permanganate.
After soaking, the seeds must be rinsed under warm running water.
Seeds without a nutrient shell are additionally soaked for 20 minutes in an ash infusion or a solution of complex fertilizer, then taken out and left for 24 hours to swell.
You can use universal soil; the optimal temperature before seedlings appear is 25-28 degrees.
According to the lunar calendar, in March cucumber seedlings should be planted on the 18th, 19th, 27th and 31st.
In April, favorable days are 1, 4, 5, 11, 12, 14, 15, 23-25.
Cucumber seedlings are planted in the ground when the soil warms up to 18 degrees.
