Many summer residents have to deal with such an “occupier” of their plot as celandine.

And while some farmers perceive the plant solely as a weed, others do not seek to eradicate it, and all because they know about the beneficial properties of celandine.

Celandine against pests

This yellow-flowered herb can help control aphids and other pests.

To do this, prepare an infusion of 10 liters of water and 5 large plants based on celandine. They must be crushed (along with the roots), filled with water and left for a day.

All plants affected by parasites are treated with the infusion using a spray bottle - as a result, the aphids die instantly.

Celandine for bulbous plants

Celandine is also used to disinfect the soil before planting bulbous plants in the fall. And the tulip bulbs themselves can be soaked in celandine infusion before planting in the ground.

To prepare the remedy, you will need to infuse 300 grams of dry, crushed celandine mass in 10 liters of water for 2 days.

After two hours of treatment, the bulbs must be dried again and only then planted in the soil.

Celandine mulch

To prevent pests from attacking your flowers, sprinkle the trunk circles with crushed celandine stems.

Not only insects, but also weeds, especially thorns, are powerless against such mulch.
