What do the letters and numbers on seed packets mean?
A – plants are not susceptible to dry spot of cucumbers or black spot of tomatoes.
C – plants are resistant to tomato brown spot, CtV – to cucumber mosaic virus.
F – cucumbers or tomatoes are immune to fusarium, F1 – hybrid seeds.
N – the variety is resistant to nematode damage, P – does not suffer from late blight.
Tm – the variety is immune to the tobacco mosaic virus, V – does not suffer from verticillium wilt.
There are both individual letters and their combinations. The numbers after the letters indicate the type of disease to which the variety is resistant.

They mean encrusted, coated and selected (intended for professional gardeners) seeds, respectively.
