According to the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, scientist-agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh, the specimens included in it are not demanding, which means that they can grow practically without your participation.
Miscanthus
Miscanthus is an unpretentious perennial grass that forms lush bushes from 80 centimeters to two meters high. The shoots of the plant have a straight shape, and at their ends are fan-shaped panicles of spikelets from 10 to 30 centimeters long.
There are about forty varieties of miscanthus. The leaves of this grass can have different shades of green, and its fluffy "flowers" are white, pink and golden.
Feather grass
Another perennial, feather grass forms compact bushes no more than one meter high. Its green leaves are usually rolled into tubes.
In May, the plant produces a large number of inflorescences with thin hairs up to 2.5 centimeters long. They form a lush, airy cap on the top of the bush, which flutters effectively even with a light breeze.
Fescue
Fescue can be recognized by its small rounded bushes, the height of which does not exceed 20-30 centimeters.
Like feather grass, this plant blooms around May: during this period, flower stalks grow above the blue-gray grass, reaching 50-60 centimeters. They form spikelets measuring from 5 to 15 millimeters, which change their color from green to golden with a pearly hue during flowering.
