Surely many petunia lovers want their flower to please the eye with lush flowering.

Unfortunately, not everyone always succeeds in achieving the desired result.

One of the mistakes typical for beginners is to feed immediately after planting.

This cannot be done – the root system must take root and begin to develop.

According to the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, scientist-agronomist and landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh , after planting the plant in pots, nitrogen fertilizers are needed.

And after transplanting to a permanent location, the first feeding is carried out after one to two weeks.

It is recommended to use foliar treatment.

After a week, add potassium-phosphorus fertilizer to the “diet”, which will promote good bud formation.

Then you need to feed the plant on a regular basis once every one or two weeks.

When the buds begin to form, we “treat” the flower with phosphorus-potassium fertilizers.

Thanks to them, petunias will bloom as brightly and luxuriantly as possible.

At the beginning of summer, potassium and phosphorus can be supplemented with nitrogen.

However, do not forget to exclude nitrogen fertilizing in the second half of summer.
