Do you apply fertilizers “by eye” and wonder why the plants are withering?
It turns out that many novice gardeners do not know that at first seedlings do not need to be fed at all.
When to start feeding
The first feeding should be carried out only after two true leaves appear - before this, the seedlings feed on seed reserves.

Use a weak solution of chicken manure (1:20) or nettle infusion.
The second feeding is 10 days after picking. Here you need phosphorus: dilute 1 tbsp. superphosphate in 5 liters of water.
The main secret
Don't forget about foliar feeding. Spray the leaves with a solution of boric acid (1 g per liter) in the budding phase - this will increase the number of ovaries.
And a week before planting in the ground, water the seedlings with calcium nitrate - it will strengthen the cells and protect them from temperature changes.
And never fertilize dry soil! Moisten the soil first, otherwise the roots will get burned.
And if the seedlings have stopped growing, try “shock therapy”. Lower the temperature to +15 degrees Celsius for 2-3 days and reduce watering.
Stress will activate defense mechanisms, and the plants will begin to grow vigorously. But do not overdo it - otherwise the sprouts will die.
And remember: transplanting is always stressful. A day before planting, spray the seedlings with "Epin" or a honey solution (1 teaspoon per liter).
This will reduce the shock and speed up adaptation. And add a handful of onion peel to the holes - its smell will scare away the mole cricket and wireworm.
