Some flower crops are strictly prohibited from being planted in the same flower bed.
And there are those that require a separate flower bed.
We tell you which flowers should not be planted together.
What flowers should not be planted together
Firstly, bulbous plants do not get along well in the same flowerbed.
These include lilies, daffodils, tulips, and hyacinths.
Planting these flowers together promotes the development of infectious diseases.
Secondly, you cannot plant roses next to irises, asters, viola, mignonette and sweet carnations.
Roses should also be planted away from bird cherry, garden jasmine and viburnum.
Thirdly, peonies need to be planted separately from other flowers.
They have a depressing effect on almost all flowers growing nearby. Tree peonies are especially aggressive.
In addition, it is strictly forbidden to plant sweet peas and pansies in the same flowerbed.
