When to sow pepper for seedlings in February
In February, there are only four favorable days left for sowing pepper seedlings: the 19th, 20th, 23rd and 24th.

But there is only one unfavorable day left this month – February 28.
It is necessary to take into account that pepper has a rather long growing season.
Depending on the variety, it is 110-150 days. Peppers are planted in the ground after 60-80 days.
Early varieties begin to bear fruit 3.5-4 months after sowing; they should be planted in the ground after 60-65 days.
For mid-season varieties, the growing season is approximately 125 days.
Mid-season peppers are planted in the ground 75-80 days after sowing.
Greenhouse varieties can be sown as early as the first ten days of February, and for open ground – until mid-March.
It should also be remembered that the vegetation period of hot peppers is slightly shorter than that of sweet peppers. Depending on the variety, the difference is 5-10 days.
