Many summer residents grow raspberries. And, as a rule, they get good harvests with an abundance of tasty, juicy berries.
However, some, unfortunately, especially beginners, cannot always boast of such results.
All because a common mistake is made. Associated with feeding.

In order to achieve the desired result from the crop, it is very important to provide it with proper care, including in the spring.
People experienced in this matter say: the first feeding should be done in April, when the soil warms up.
During this period, raspberries are actively growing and therefore need nutrients.
Among mineral fertilizers, ammonium nitrate or urea are recommended - a tablespoon per square meter.
Among organic matter, humus (up to 5 kilos per 1 square meter), manure or bird droppings (1 kilo per 10 liters of water, then we water the bushes) are good.
Before fertilizing, you should remove weeds, old mulch and dry vegetation from the area.
You also need to do some pruning – remove old shoots.
It is important to loosen the soil in order to improve access to oxygen for the raspberry root system.
Afterwards we add fertilizer. It is better to do this in warm and dry weather.
