If next season you are determined to wipe the floor with your boastful neighbors who display their rich harvest for everyone to see, then you need to start preparing now.
Your task is to prepare the beds in the greenhouse for the new season, and ours is to tell you about the easiest way to do this.
Of course, you should start by cleaning up the vegetable tops.
And after this stage is completed, start sowing green manure in the cleared beds in the greenhouse.
But instead of sowing green manure crops in a continuous carpet, try a new method that involves sowing green manure crops in holes.
You will need to dig small holes 30-40 centimeters apart and fill them with organic materials such as green grass, pulled weeds and fallen leaves.
Also add some rotted compost and vermicompost to populate the soil with beneficial microorganisms.
Fill the holes with soil and plant green manure. Preference should be given to cereal crops such as barley or wheat, which form mycorrhiza well.
To water the holes with green manure, use green manure or solutions of EM preparations to enrich the soil not only with nutrients, but also with beneficial microflora.
Later, cucumbers, peppers, tomatoes and other vegetables can be grown in such organic holes.
