Slugs can become a real nightmare for any gardener, as they cause significant damage to crops.

If you don’t fight pests, they can completely destroy the harvest.

Therefore, there are many methods that promise to get rid of slugs. Some of them show good results, and some methods are simply useless.

However, it is rare for a summer resident to make do with ordinary hot water: few people know about this method.

How to Kill Slugs with Boiling Water

It is worth noting right away that you will have to fight longer than expected, but the method still shows itself well in the long term. You need to heat a sufficient amount of water to one hundred degrees.

Then dilute with cold water. We need to achieve a temperature of 50 degrees. This will be fatal for slugs, but completely safe for the soil, leaves and root system of plants.

It's worth waiting until evening.

Then shine a flashlight and find the slugs. Immediately pour boiling water over the pests. It is also worth watering the soil and plant where the slug was.

For 7 days, you should go out "hunting" every day. After that, you can give yourself a day of rest, going out to the garden every other time. Soon you will notice that there are no more slugs in the area.
