Many people know about the importance of fertilizing currants, which is usually done either at the very end of summer or at the beginning of autumn.

This will help to improve the health of the bush, thanks to which the currant will grow incredibly spectacular next year.

What fertilizers should you pay attention to?

Potassium sulfate with superphosphate

This is an ideal mixture for restoring currants after the season. It is recommended to take fifty grams of each preparation per bucket of water.

Then we retreat from the trunk by forty centimeters and dig grooves. We pour the prepared nutrient mixture into them.

Then don't forget to cover the holes with a layer of soil.

Compost with ash

These means are usually used in cases where the soil can be considered depleted according to objective indicators. At least a bucket of compost is taken for each bush.

Two glasses of ash will be enough. Fertilizers show excellent results in a complex.

Potato

This top dressing will be a great addition to the main ones. It is worth collecting potato peelings in advance, drying them and digging them in not far from the currants themselves.
