You will need a drill and regular table salt. You can use ammonium nitrate.
We drill several fairly deep and wide holes in the stump.
We pour salt/saltpeter into the holes, pour water and cover the stump with polyethylene.
The method is not fast, but it is very effective. Over time, the stump will turn into dust.
