In order for currants to grow sweet and strong, they need to be fed with a certain fertilizer every autumn.
We tell you how to prepare a fertilizer that increases the yield of currants.
How to feed currants in autumn
You will need two ingredients: corn or potato starch and a mineral premix for laying hens.
The mixture should contain approximately 40% starch and 60% premix.
For example, you can take one and a half kilograms of starch and two kilograms of premix.
But keep in mind that you only need a little fertilizer per bush: just two tablespoons.
Fertilizer is applied in dry form, followed by watering.
