Roses will bloom profusely until the frost if certain fertilizers are applied in July.
We'll tell you what kind of feeding roses need in mid-summer.
How to feed roses in July
Immediately after summer pruning, roses need to be fed with organic or mineral fertilizers with a high nitrogen content.
After about a week, fertilize with magnesium sulfate, which promotes the growth of basal shoots.
After 7-10 days, it is recommended to feed the roses with complex mineral fertilizer (for roses, flower, marked “summer”).
The richer the composition, the better, but nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus must be present.
