Yeast feeding is a thing of the past for many. There is a reason to consider in detail the fertilizer from bread.

We will tell you how to prepare fertilizer and how to use it.

How to prepare fertilizer

You will need to fill any suitable container with dried bread crumbs to 2/3 of its volume.

Then pour in warm water and cover the container with a lid, leaving it in a warm place for two weeks.

When the infusion has fermented, it must be filtered and the resulting solution diluted with water in a ratio of 1:10.

They say that you can also add a glass of wood ash here. But the bread-ash concentrate is diluted five times after filtering.

How to use

Feeding tomatoes and cucumbers with bread infusion begins during flowering and the appearance of ovaries.

One cucumber bush will require 0.5 liters of ready-made fertilizer. Tomatoes require about a liter of the additive.

Fertilizing is done after watering, and then watering is repeated with clean water and the soil is loosened. The interval between fertilizing is 10 days.

Summer residents claim that the benefits of bread fertilizer are obvious and all because yeast is used when baking bread.

However, skeptics do not believe in the power of yeast as a nutrient, and also remind that when baking, yeast loses its properties and becomes even less effective as a fertilizer.

Experts also remind that folk remedies cannot replace complex, mineral and even organic fertilizers.
