Iodine-milk spraying
The first thing to do is to take care of the prevention of yellowing of cucumber leaves. Iodine-milk spraying will help you with this, which strengthens the immunity of plants and improves resistance to various rots and powdery mildew.
Dissolve 30 drops of iodine, 20 g of laundry soap and 1 liter of milk in 10 liters of water, mix well and you can start treating the cucumber beds. Spraying is allowed once every two weeks.
Bread based spray
Another way to keep cucumbers green is to spray them with a bread-based solution. This method keeps the tops green until late autumn, which helps to extend the fruiting period.
Take a bucket of water and put one loaf of bread (black or white, it doesn't matter) in it. Leave it for a day to infuse. Then strain the infusion, add 30-40 drops of iodine per bucket of water. This procedure should be carried out in the evening or in cloudy weather to prevent leaf burns.
Spraying with whey
If you want to increase the formation of ovaries, you should use 2 liters of whey and 150 g of sugar dissolved in a 10-liter bucket of water.
