Celandine on the plot can become a big problem, because, no matter how you look at it, this plant is a weed. At the same time, experienced summer residents, although they destroy it in the beds, leave it to grow along the edges of their property, and they have several reasons for this.

One of them, as the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, scientist-agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh said, is that celandine is a good honey plant that attracts all pollinators.

But that's not all: many gardeners use the plant's juice to rub wounds and cuts on trees before covering them with garden pitch. Gardeners have found a use for celandine as mulch, as well as a rodent repellent - for this, dry branches are laid out in the cellar.

Celandine can be added to green fermentation (10-20% of the total green mass) – it gives the fertilizer antiseptic, antibacterial and antifungal properties.

In addition, celandine is able to fight most pests only at the very beginning of their development or until they have multiplied greatly.

To do this, you will need to prepare a working solution. This is done as follows.

You will need 2-3 adult plants, which need to be pulled out by the roots and then chopped with a knife into pieces of about 3 cm.

Soak the resulting mass in 10 liters of slightly hot water and leave for 5-6 hours, or overnight.

All that remains is to squeeze out the plant mass, strain the infusion and add 50 g of natural laundry soap to it, after which you can begin treating it against pests by spraying or “bathing” the branches in water with the solution.
