There is one plant that has a very beneficial effect on raspberries.

Experienced gardeners know that raspberries respond to such a neighborhood with a generous harvest of berries.

We are talking about perennial lupine. Raspberries like it. If you use it as mulch.

But experts say the procedure must be carried out before the lupine produces seeds.

They advise placing the leaves and stems between the rows not whole, but in a crushed form, chopped with a hoe or shovel.

This mulch will help maintain soil moisture, reduce the number of weeds, and disinfect the soil around the raspberries.

During the process of rotting, mulch will “supply” the soil with potassium, which will improve its properties.

What's the bottom line? Raspberries will grow and bear fruit better in such soil.

Experts recommend using lupine roots (crushed), poured with 10 liters of water.

The roots should take up no more than a quarter of the bucket's volume. The fertilizer should be left to stand for 8 days, and before watering it should be diluted with water (by half).

As a result of such processing, you will not only get an abundance of harvest. The raspberries will be very sweet and large.

Earlier we talked about why you should sprinkle salt on your onion bed in June.
