If you want your petunia to look like a blooming "ball", you will have to try.

An expert of the online publication BelNovosti, agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh shared a scheme for fertilizing petunias during different periods of growth.

To ensure that the plants form a powerful green mass with a large number of lateral shoots on which flower buds will develop, 7-10 days after planting, water the flowers with a solution of 10 liters of water and 10 g of calcium nitrate.

After another 7-10 days, apply root and foliar fertilization using potassium monophosphate - 10 g per 10 l of water and add 4 g of succinic acid here.

You can promote further growth of leaf mass by using urea – add 10 g of the preparation to the water with each watering.

At this stage, you will need complex fertilizers, which contain nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium in equal quantities. It will be good if the fertilizer contains magnesium and microelements. Here are some examples of suitable fertilizers: "Master", "Kristalon", "Fertika", etc.

Dissolve 20 g of fertilizer in 10 l of water and feed the plants with this solution 2-3 times before flowering with a break of 7-10 days.

During this period of growth, spraying with potassium monophosphate (10 g per 10 l of water) is allowed, as well as the use of complex compositions, where potassium, magnesium and microelements predominate (for example, "Rastvorin").

Finally, potassium humate will contribute to lush flowering; you will need 1 tablespoon per 10 liters of water.
