Ammonia is a product that can be useful to the owner of a country house more than once.
Firstly, ammonia is a source of nitrogen. That is why the solution can be used as a nitrogen fertilizer.
Secondly, ammonia copes well with many pests. Thus, the product can also act as an insecticide.
An expert of the online publication "BelNovosti", agronomist and landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh reminded us of the main options for using ammonia in the country.
Fertilizer
Add two tablespoons of ten percent ammonia to a bucket of water.
The resulting solution should be used to water the soil under which the crop that needs fertilizing is growing.
Each bush should receive a liter of solution.
Anti-aphid remedy
For 10 liters of water, there should be two tablespoons of ammonia. For the same amount, there should be one tablespoon of liquid soap (so that the finished product “sticks” better).
Next, you need to spray the vulnerable plant with drops of the prepared product.
Remedy against mole crickets
This time, there should be 10 milliliters of ammonia per bucket of water.
Onion fly remedy
And in order to obtain a remedy that will cope with this pest (as well as the carrot fly), you need to add one tablespoon of ammonia to 10 liters of plain water.
The prepared solution should be used to water the beds where dangerous insects have appeared.
