Grass between tiles is a problem familiar to many summer residents.
Anastasia Kovrizhnykh, an expert of the online publication Belnovosti, agronomist and landscape designer, spoke about several ways to solve this problem.
How to get rid of grass between tiles
If the area is small, you can periodically remove the grass manually.
There are many tools available to make the process easier (L-shaped garden knives, root removers, crevice cleaners, etc.).
Secondly, watering with boiling water is very effective: not only the plants die, but also the seeds between the tiles.
Thirdly, you can treat the joints between tiles with a jet of water under high pressure using a high-pressure pump or a high-pressure washer.
Grass can also be removed using ammonia (one kilogram per 10 liters of water) and a mixture of salt, soda and sand.
However, it is much easier not to fight the grass, but to prevent its appearance at the design stage of the path using a cement tape or an insulating pad.
Earlier, the expert told how to defeat the Colorado potato beetle with the help of celandine.
