You can get a good harvest without using special fertilizers.

For example, regular milk is a very effective fertilizer.

Anastasia Kovrizhnykh, an expert of the online publication Belnovosti, agronomist and landscape designer, tells us which plants like milk fertilizer.

What plants like to be watered with milk

Root vegetables, tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, fruit trees, indoor plants, especially roses and peonies, are very fond of milk.

For root feeding of garden crops, milk is diluted with water in a ratio of 1:5 and poured into grooves dug around the plants.

For greater effect, you can add iodine (10 drops per 10 liters of water with milk).

To water indoor plants, dilute a teaspoon of milk in a liter of settled water.

Before watering with water and milk, flowers should be watered with regular water.

Milk can also be used to treat plants against diseases and pests (late blight, powdery mildew, aphids, leaf rollers).

Dissolve a liter of milk in 10 liters of water, add 30 drops of iodine and 20 grams of laundry soap.

Earlier, the expert told whether it is worth planting fruit seedlings in the spring.
