If the tomatoes were planted for seedlings too early, they begin to stretch, outgrow, and by the time it comes time to transplant them into open ground, they look too large and somewhat exhausted.

An expert of the online publication BelNovosti, agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh shared a method that has been repeatedly tested by gardeners.

As a result of its use, not only does the seedlings stop stretching, but they also become greener, their stems become thicker, and their root system becomes more powerful.

To achieve all this, you will have to lower the temperature and add lighting.

In addition, try to arrange the pots with seedlings in such a way that there is some distance between them so that their leaves do not touch - otherwise, there will be competition for light and space, and as a result - stretching.

The growth regulator also has the ability to delay the elongation of tomato seedlings.

One of such preparations that can be used for watering is "Athlete". It is recommended to carry out the procedures outdoors - on the street or balcony.

After using the product, you should leave the tomatoes to air in the open air. You do not need to water the plants for 3-4 days.
