You cannot plant crops belonging to the nightshade family after tomatoes: tomatoes, potatoes, peppers, eggplants.
Also, you shouldn’t plant melons and watermelons after tomatoes, as they will lack nutrients.
After tomatoes, you can plant cabbage, cucumbers, beans, onions, greens, zucchini, and celery.
