Cut flowers require careful care.
There is no need to rush to put them in water right away. They need to get used to room temperature.
Usually it takes about 5-10 minutes. Then you need to remove the packaging, trim the stems a little with a sharp knife, and then the plants can be placed in a clean vase with water.
But there are a few more rules.
For example, if you received roses as a gift, you should take into account that such flowers feel better in cool conditions. This rule also applies to tulips, which means that they cannot be placed near heating devices or in a place where direct sunlight falls.
You can also add a few ice cubes to the tulips in the vase.
Lush carnations are considered unpretentious plants that can stand in a vase for more than two weeks. But with each cut and change of water, you need to wash the stems from mucus.
Mimosa branches need to be sprayed constantly to keep them fluffy. However, they dry out quickly.
In addition, it is important to trim the stems regularly, but the cut site can be slightly flattened with a hard object so that the mimosa remains in excellent condition longer.
If you want the fragrant lilies to delight you longer, you should carefully remove the stamens with pollen from the inflorescences.
