To grow a lush rose bush in your garden, you only need one unopened bud and a head of red onion.

Anyone can root a flower, you just need to know the nuances, which were described by the expert of the online publication "BelNovosti", scientist-agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh .

First, you need to cut off the unopened rose bud using a sterile instrument - a sharp knife or garden shears.

Then cut off the top of the red onion and make several holes in it with an awl or other sharp object so that the onion will release a lot of juice, which is rich in vitamins and nutrients necessary for the active growth of roses.

Next, shorten the rose stem and insert the bud into the bulb.

Now choose a suitable container for planting the rose, for example, a plastic cup. Make several holes in it to ensure drainage.

Fill the container with soil, but do not pack it too tightly, then place the rose bulb with the bud already on it in the soil. Moisten the soil thoroughly so that it is saturated with moisture.

Next, to create a greenhouse effect, we should cover our glass with a rose with a lid, which can be made from the top of a plastic bottle.

After carrying out all these “procedures”, in about 20-25 days, you will see how the rose roots begin to actively develop, and the bud itself opens, forming a beautiful flower.

Earlier we told you which indoor flowers should not be placed next to each other.
