You can significantly increase your chances of getting a bountiful tomato harvest even before planting the seedlings.

To do this, you need to add certain fertilizers to the soil.

An expert of the online publication "BelNovosti", agronomist and landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh recommends creating holes for seedlings in advance.

Two types of fertilizer should be added to the resulting holes.

How a summer resident should act

24 hours before planting tomato seedlings in a greenhouse or open ground, the owner of a country plot must dig holes.

We are talking about the holes in which young plants will be “installed”.

The holes need to be prepared in a certain way. Immediately after digging, a mixture consisting of two important components needs to be placed in them.

We are talking about superphosphate, as well as magnesium sulfate.

Such a compound fertilizer will have a positive effect on the condition of the plant. The seedlings will most likely take root without problems. In addition, the garden crop will probably acquire powerful roots.

If the summer resident is not eager to use “chemicals”, as an alternative one can use “organic” substances – onion peels.

Earlier, summer residents were told when to plant tomato seedlings in 2024.
