This flower can be propagated at any time of the year, but it is best to do this from November to February.

This makes it possible to repeat the natural cycle when a plant forms seeds.

You can also root stem cuttings - this method is considered standard for growing flowers at home.

Expert of the online publication Belnovosti and agronomist Anastasia Kovrizhnykh will give recommendations.

  1. Take containers with a capacity of at least 200 ml and make drainage holes there. You can use universal soil for flower seedlings.
  2. Next, we prepare cuttings and leaves - you need to find healthy and juicy shoots with roots in the leaf axils.
  3. After this, we dip the Decembrist into water and rooting powder. Then we carefully stick the cuttings into the soil, deepening them to about half.
  4. We cover the pot to create a mini greenhouse.
