It is known that the most frequent guests in a greenhouse are cucumbers and tomatoes.
If you want to make the most of the space, you can plant crops in the middle of the greenhouse.
This approach makes it possible to get a larger harvest and save on garden beds.
Let's see what crops the expert of the online publication "Belnovosti" and agronomist Anastasia Kovrizhnykh recommends planting in a greenhouse.
What plants can be planted in a greenhouse
Here are some examples.
- Radish. Daikon and radish are also suitable - they will have time to grow before tomatoes and cucumbers.
- Lettuce and other greens. They can also be planted in a greenhouse and will grow much faster.
- Onions and garlic on a feather. Greens grow in about 3-3.5 weeks.
- Spicy herbs. A great way to replenish your vitamin supply in a couple of weeks.
- Early ripening beetroot. Grows in 75-110 days – you will get a good harvest.
