Planting seedlings has always been considered a difficult task among summer residents. The most difficult ones are associated with representatives of the nightshade family - tomatoes and peppers.

An expert of the online publication BelNovosti, agronomist, and landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh calls these crops some of the most capricious.

This means that for their full growth it is absolutely necessary to add fertilizers.

One of the most effective fertilizers, as shown by many years of experience of gardeners, is kefir, which is distinguished not only by its effectiveness, but also by its low price.

What are the benefits of kefir?

Kefir contains many lactic acid bacteria, as well as various microelements and macroelements that promote the development of healthy soil microflora.

This product is rich in calcium, nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, which promote the growth and development of fruit ovaries.

In addition, vitamins A, B, C and PP in kefir strengthen the immune system of plants, making them more resistant to various diseases and pests.

How to make kefir dressing

To prepare the fertilizer, you will need settled water at room temperature and kefir (any fat content and freshness).

Mix 900 ml of water and 100 ml of kefir to make the fertilizer homogeneous, and apply it to moist and loose soil under the root every 10 days.

Earlier, an expert from the online publication BelNovosti told how to deal with sciarids on seedlings.
