Want to get an early tomato harvest? Start sowing in early February

Perhaps this information will seem quite surprising to some, but at the end of January – beginning of February you can start sowing tomatoes for seedlings.

This recommendation should be used by gardeners who would like to achieve an early harvest, says Anastasia Kovrizhnykh , an expert of the online publication BelNovosti, an agronomist, and a landscape designer.

Of course, you won’t have to plant the seedlings in a greenhouse or in open ground – we’ll grow tomatoes in a pot.

So, if you, like many other gardeners, have decided to grow tomatoes at home, you should use low-growing varieties that are intended for growing in pots.

The process of growing such tomatoes is no different from the usual care of tomatoes, but there are some peculiarities.

First, the seeds can be soaked in a special solution (for example, aloe, succinic acid, hydrogen peroxide or wood ash).

Then the seed material is placed in containers filled with soil. When the time comes for picking, allocate a container with a capacity of about 500 ml for the seedlings.

At the final stage, the seedlings are transplanted into a pot with a volume of 3 to 5 liters - this is where they will grow, bloom and bear fruit.

The last nuance: in winter it is important to provide plants with enough light so that they do not stretch out and receive all the necessary nutrients.

Earlier, the expert told how to feed the bald zamioculcas so that the leaves grow like crazy.
