Orchids are one of the most popular and beautiful indoor plants that attract attention with their truly exquisite flowers and delicate leaves.

However, like all living organisms, orchids can face various problems. According to the expert of the online publication "BelNovosti", scientist-agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh , orchid owners are often haunted by such a problem as the withering of leaves of their "green pets".

Therefore, we offer you an effective method that will help solve the above-mentioned problem in no time – glucose feeding.

This procedure can significantly improve the condition of the plant and help it return to normal growth and development.

Glucose feeding is carried out by the contact method. To do this, you need to prepare a solution by mixing one ampoule of glucose in 200 ml of warm water.

Instead of glucose, you can use regular sugar; for this you will need two tablespoons of sugar.

Next, you need to cut paper napkins into strips, the width of which should be equal to the size of the orchid leaf. These strips need to be moistened in the prepared glucose solution and carefully placed on the orchid leaves, trying not to damage them.

Once the paper strips are completely dry, they can be removed. This compress allows glucose to penetrate the orchid leaves and provide them with the necessary nutrients.
