Many people manage to grow citrus fruits at home: these spectacular plants noticeably transform the interior of an apartment.
However, sometimes we may notice that citrus fruits have become of interest to scale insects.
Some try to use potassium permanganate or specialized preparations, but you can pay attention to a couple of time-tested methods, says Anastasia Kovrizhnykh, an expert of the online publication "BelNovosti", an agronomist and landscape designer.
What two methods are we talking about?
Vodka with soap
It is proposed to make a powerful product that will literally free citrus fruits from scale insects in a matter of moments. First, you need to grind some soap and dissolve it completely in hot water.
Mix the resulting composition with vodka.
Then we take cotton wool, apply the product to it and treat the plant.
Machine oil
This method seems even more surprising, but it shows a high level of efficiency. You will need to take only ten grams of machine oil (used).
Meanwhile, grate half a bar of laundry soap and dissolve it in hot water.
Afterwards we process the leaves.
We wait three hours and wash off the composition.
We perform both of these methods only three times. We leave a gap of seven days between each procedure.
