How to care for seedlings from small seeds: we tell you using eustoma as an example

As is known, seedlings obtained from small seeds require more painstaking care.

What it should be like was explained by the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, scientist-agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh .

As an example, let's take the small shoots that appeared after planting eustoma.

So, as soon as you notice shoots, immediately send the seedlings under the lamp. Otherwise, the plants will begin to stretch after the light and will eventually grow weak and unsightly.

Do not rush to completely remove the bag that you used to cover the container with seedlings. Give the tender shoots time to get stronger and develop a root system.

Instead, remove the "cover" from the bag for a while, for example during the day, and cover it again in the evening.

There are also those plant growers who do not want to bother with gradually accustoming seedlings to life outside the "greenhouse" conditions. If you are one of them, do not forget that seedlings must be ventilated.

While condensation is forming on the bag, the plants have more than enough moisture, so there is no need to rush with watering, so as not to provoke rotting.

There is no point in fertilizing either – the first time fertilizer is applied only after the first true leaves appear.

Earlier, the expert listed the problems that a dieffenbachia owner may encounter.
