What types of birds might be suitable?

Here are some options.

1. Layers. Decide whether you want eggs or meat. If the former, you need layers. Most breeds start laying eggs at 5 months of age.
2. Geese. A good investment – even a beginner can handle this bird. They are unpretentious in food and can be slaughtered for meat at the age of 3 months.
3. Ducks. They are also bred for meat. It grows quickly - 2 months is enough.
4. Quails. A profitable bird for breeding, which quickly gains weight.
5. Turkeys. The largest of domestic birds. Will help to cope with the Colorado potato beetle.
