Preventive treatment of trees against aphids in the spring is probably necessary for every summer resident to save themselves from this scourge.
An expert of the online publication BelNovosti, agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh told what folk remedies experienced gardeners use in the process of such treatment.
To begin with, we note that all of the listed compositions, prepared according to folk recipes, are universal - they can be used for both fruit trees and shrubs.
Another important point to keep in mind before you begin processing is that the procedure should be carried out on a dry and windless day after the warm weather sets in.
Garlic solution
To prepare it, you need to place 100 g of crushed garlic in a container with one liter of water and let it brew for 24 hours. Then put the mixture on the fire, bring to a boil and cook for 15-20 minutes.
The resulting solution should be diluted with water in a ratio of 1:5 and used to spray trees and shrubs.
Dandelion based solution
To prepare such a composition, you will have to stock up on 500 g of fresh dandelions, which you need to put in a bucket with 10 liters of water and leave for 2-3 days, stirring occasionally.
Before using the solution, strain it through cheesecloth, and then begin spraying the trees and shrubs.
