In order for tomato seedlings to grow strong and thick, they need to be fed correctly and in a timely manner.
Anastasia Kovrizhnykh, an expert of the online publication Belnovosti, agronomist and landscape designer, talks about the best fertilizers for tomato seedlings.
How to feed tomato seedlings
The first feeding is done at the nursery stage. Watering with a nitrophoska solution (0.5 tbsp. per liter of water) is very effective.
Spraying with a superphosphate solution also gives a good effect. Dissolve 0.5 tbsp in a liter of hot water, leave for a day, dilute the top layer without sediment in 10 liters of water.
The second time we feed is approximately 10 days after picking.
In 10 liters of water, dissolve 10-15 g of ammonium nitrate, 40-50 g of double superphosphate and 20-30 g of potassium sulfate.
