You can get a good tomato harvest even in a cold summer if you use a certain fertilizer.
Anastasia Kovrizhnykh, an expert of the online publication Belnovosti, agronomist and landscape designer, talks about the fertilizer that guarantees a large tomato harvest.
How to feed tomatoes
One of the best options is nettle feeding. Take a large container, fill it 2/3 with crushed nettles without seeds, fill it with warm water so that there is some free space.
Cover the container with a lid with holes and place it in a warm, but not hot place for two weeks.
You can add a little pharmacy valerian (20 ml per 10 liters of infusion), it will help prevent the appearance of an unpleasant odor.
It is advisable to stir the prepared fertilizer daily. If this is not possible, stir it at least once every five days.
The infusion should be diluted with water in a ratio of 1:10. Fertilizer is applied once every 10-14 days from May to mid-July.
