The summer cottage season is just around the corner, which means that soon every owner of their own plot will have to fiddle with seedlings, beds and other delights of country life.
According to the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, scientist-agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh , growing seedlings from small seeds is especially difficult for a plant grower, especially a beginner.
This applies to plants such as lobelia, petunia, begonia, nemesia, ageratum, strawberries, carrots, etc.
If you want the process to go, as they say, without a hitch, be sure to take into account the planting features of the named plants.
First, do not try to plant small seeds too deep. You are required to spread them over the surface of the soil using tweezers, leaving some space between the grains, and then lightly sprinkle them with sand.
Secondly, only loose soil that can drain water well is suitable for working with such seeds.
Thirdly, watering of crops grown from small seed material should be carried out exclusively by spraying.
And finally, fourthly: after planting, be sure to build a mini-greenhouse and do not rush to get rid of it until the plants have acquired good roots and become stronger.
Earlier, the expert spoke about the simplest way to grow seedlings , which takes up a minimum of space and provides maximum convenience.
