However, for the beliefs to come true, the flower must be in a good “mood”, and a properly selected pot plays an important role in this.
When choosing a container for a money tree, proceed from the fact that its root system has the form of a tuber with thick and long roots growing vertically from it.
Hence the conclusion: the pot should not be too wide, but deep.
If you are going to transplant a young plant, find a pot for it that is 1-2 cm deeper than the previous one, and for transplanting an adult zamioculcas - 3-5 cm.
But you shouldn’t rush to plant the dollar tree right away in a large pot – in this case, it will start growing the above-ground part, not the roots.
An essential “component” is drainage, which will prevent the flower from suffering from excess moisture.
As for the material, it is considered that the most suitable option is clay. A pot made of this material is sufficiently stable and, in addition, has the ability to pass air.
