Not all summer residents adhere to the same position regarding the importance of feeding beets.
Some people believe that the vegetable will be able to develop normally without it.
Other summer residents hold a different position: beets should still be fed to improve their quality. Anastasia Kovrizhnykh, an expert of the online publication "BelNovosti", agronomist and landscape designer, holds the second position.
What to feed beets with
Rotted manure
This fertilizer will be relevant at the very beginning of summer. For one part of the fertilizer itself, take ten parts of water and add another 20 grams of potassium chloride.
This is an excellent composition that will give beets everything they need.
Superphosphate
This fertilizer is recommended to be applied in mid-summer. You can "treat" beets at the beginning of the second summer month.
Fifty grams of superphosphate are taken per square meter of planting. At this stage of beet development, other industrial complexes can also be introduced.
