Sometimes a plum tree may bear fruit in a way that is completely different from what we would like.
The fruit yield can be extremely poor.
Another very common situation is the appearance of large amounts of fallen fruit. In order to avoid this situation, the expert of the online publication "BelNovosti", landscape designer and scientist-agronomist Anastasia Kovrizhnykh recommends paying attention to a clever feeding scheme.
What does it consist of?
In order to collect a quality harvest of tasty plums, you need to try during the season. First, in the spring, the crop is "treated" with a special composition.
To do this, take two spoons of potassium sulfate and urea per bucket of water. The composition is used for watering.
When the flowering stage is over, you need to prepare another nutrient composition. To do this, take three spoons of nitrophoska per bucket of water.
After that, you need to wait for the moment when the fruits start to form. At this point, we again prepare a special nutrient mixture. To do this, we take twenty parts of water for one part of the fermented manure and water the soil.
It is also necessary to properly feed the tree at the end of the season. To do this, take two spoons of superphosphate and the same amount of potassium sulfate per bucket of water. This product is used for spraying.
If you stick to this feeding scheme, the plum will pleasantly surprise you with its harvest.
